The Role

This is a full time position, 8.30-5pm, Monday - Friday. Immediate start.

  • Reception duties – Telephone; Meet and greet clients, consultants for meetings

  • Application lodgement with government authorities as required, tracking and status updates of applications

  • Provide administrative support to the office – Includes setting up new jobs, sourcing information for tenders and fee proposals, assist with day to day enquiries for progression of projects

  • Diary management as required

  • Update registers, maintain data directories

  • Executive assistance to Directors as required including travel arrangements, email management, spreadsheet updates

  • Arrange staff and client functions

  • Maintain a tidy, well stocked functioning office

Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role you will need

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams

  • To be mature minded and experienced, capable of handling (at times) demanding clients

  • Collaborative and adaptable approach to prioritising your work

  • Have worked in small to medium private enterprise

  • High care factor

  • You describe yourself as activated, adaptable, able to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Strong and confident communications skills to handle all stakeholders, including

    • Staff, developers, contractors, subcontractors, government authorities and office suppliers

  • Well developed problem solving skills

  • Committed to supporting your colleagues whenever possible
