Landscape Architect
Position Outline
We are a medium sized, multidisciplinary consultancy based in Port Macquarie, NSW. Our projects
are predominantly residential land development projects throughout regional NSW and QLD.
You will be working in tight collaboration with a team of planners, surveyors, engineers and project
managers to deliver these projects from their feasibility stage through to final construction.
This role is extremely diverse and involves all aspects of the development process from feasibility
phase through to detail construction design and management.
Key areas of the role include:
Land Planning

Design and preparation of master planned residential developments including subdivisions, community lifestyle estates, medium density residential developments

Liaising and coordinating with clients, various consultants, in house staff and council officers
during the design and development phase -
Preparation of plan documentation for rezoning and development applications
Landscape Design
-
Prepare detail landscape design documentation for construction and tender projects

Prepare Landscape Bills of Quantities

Manage landscape tender packages

Supervise and oversee onsite landscape works

Preparation of Landscape Design Guidelines for various estates
Environmental Management

Responsible for the engagement and coordination of the various environmental
components and consultants for each project e.g ecology, bushfire, stormwater, heritage, -
Prepare vegetation management plans (VMP) in liaison with the consulting ecologist and
land management contractor -
Supervise and oversee the VMP works

Oversee the long term VMP obligations including liaison with council officers, site inspections, monitoring reports
Essential Criteria
To be successful in this role you will need

Degree in landscape architecture

Have a minimum of 5 years industry experience

Be familiar with AutoCAD
-
Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word and Teams
