Civil Design Engineer

The Role

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday. Immediate start.

Two roles available.

Experience working on

Land development for residential, commercial and industrial subdivisions including MHE
Infrastructure for new and upgraded local and state roads.
Stormwater drainage design and modelling.
Water and sewer reticulation network analysis.
Engineering assessments and reports
Work with external consultants in the fields of Traffic, Geotechnical, Environmental and internal including Town Planning, Surveying, Landscape Architect
Work collaboratively alongside other professionals on a range of multi-disciplinary projects, working to deadlines, within budget and with a commercial outcome.
Support Engineering Manager and Directors with construction management including site inspections and contract administration as required
Civil estimating and preparation of Bills of Quantities.

Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role you will need

A Bachelor of Civil Engineering;
A minimum of 5+ postgraduate experience
Demonstrated delivery history on relevant projects within Australia
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Further consideration will also be given to candidates with CPEng
Collaborative and adaptable approach to prioritising your work
Have worked in small to medium private enterprise
High care factor
You describe yourself as activated, able to work collaboratively
Strong and confident communications skills to handle all stakeholders, including
- Staff, developers, contractors, subcontractors
Highly proficient in following programs
- Civil 3D, Civil Site Design, DRAINS, MUSIC
Knowledge of 12D well regarded
Good Microsoft Office skills including, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams
