Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)
The Role
You will be working closely with and reporting to our Business Manager maintaining all accounts
receivable and accounts payable functions for the business. There will be a minimum expectation of four days a week with the capacity to scale up to five days during busier times or times of Leave.
The core role responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant include:

A/P - Daily processing expenses, bills and reconciling to supplier monthly statements

A/R - Prepare and issue monthly invoicing, process customer payments, assist customer account enquiries

Bank, Credit Card reconciliations

Maintain databases and other internal registers
-
Update project budgets and provide to clients monthly/as requested
Additionally, there will be opportunities to assist the company internally with other aspects of the
business.
Expectations of the role

Extremely high attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy

Demonstrated experience in financial administration, including expenses and invoicing

Willingness to learn

Demonstrated experience in working both collaboratively and autonomously in an accountable environment with multiple stakeholders.

Good written and verbal communication skills with experience in problem solving across
multiple teams. -
Demonstrated experience in using a variety of software and Microsoft Office applications
(particularly Excel)

Ability to learn the working environment quickly and apply processes seamlessly.

Accounting or Bookkeeping firm experience

Intermediate to advanced experience with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft applications
